Tonga Basket, Medium
The Tonga Basket is a striking yet versatile accent for the home. These baskets are handwoven by the BaTonga women, who live in the remote Binga district of Northern Zimbabwe. They utilize all natural and locally harvested materials such as wild grasses, small vines, and ilala palm fronds, dyed with tree bark. The basket is finished with a traditional herringbone lip. This medium size can easily be combined with various other sizes to create a feature wall.
